Please read these terms carefully. By entering the 12th Man Draw you accept them in full.
1. The Promoter
The promoter is [PROMOTER LEGAL NAME], of [REGISTERED / CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS] (“the Promoter”, “we”, “us”). Any reference to Active Sports FC in these terms means the Promoter.
2. The prize draw is free to enter
No purchase is necessary. You do not need to make a donation or any payment to enter or to win. Entry is free and open to everyone who meets the eligibility criteria below. The draw is entirely separate from any fundraising or donation the Club may run.
3. Eligibility
To enter you must:
- be aged 18 or over at the date of entry;
- be a resident of [the United Kingdom — confirm];
- not be an employee, officer or committee member of the Promoter, nor a member of their immediate family or household, nor anyone else professionally connected with the draw.
You may win only once per football season. A previous winner remains subscribed but is excluded from any further monthly draws for the remainder of that season. For this purpose, a “season” runs from [SEASON START, e.g. 1 August] to [SEASON END, e.g. 31 May].
4. How to enter
Enter by signing up to the Active Sports FC mailing list using the form at [ENTRY PAGE URL]. Entries submitted on behalf of another person, by automated means, or that are incomplete or illegible will not be accepted. [Confirm: one entry per person / per household.] We accept no responsibility for entries not received for any reason.
5. Entry period
The 12th Man Draw runs monthly. Each monthly draw closes for entries at [TIME] on the last day of the calendar month, with a new draw opening immediately for the following month. A single mailing-list sign-up enters you into every monthly draw for as long as you remain subscribed — you do not need to re-enter. If you unsubscribe, you will not be entered into subsequent draws.
6. The prize
For each monthly draw, one (1) winner will receive [NUMBER] hospitality place(s) at a Premier League match — [VENUE / “a Premier League fixture to be confirmed by the Promoter”] — comprising [DESCRIBE PACKAGE: e.g. matchday hospitality, seating, catering].
The prize:
- is subject to availability and to the fixture date, which is set by others and may change (including for broadcast reasons);
- does not include travel, accommodation or spending money unless expressly stated above;
- is subject to the venue’s ground regulations and any conditions the hospitality supplier attaches to the package;
- [where the package includes alcohol, all members of the party must be 18 or over];
- is non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged;
- has no cash alternative.
The number of prizes and winners is limited to that stated above.
7. The draw
Each month, one winner is drawn at random from all valid entries for that month, within [X] working days of the monthly closing time. Each draw is final.
8. Notifying the winner
We will contact the winner using the details provided at entry, within [X] days of the draw. If the winner cannot be reached, does not respond within [X] days, or cannot accept the prize, we reserve the right to withdraw it and draw an alternative winner. The winner’s name (first name and county only) can be obtained by writing to the Promoter at the address above after [DATE].
9. Publicity
By entering, the winner agrees that we may publish their first name and county to announce the result. [Confirm whether event photography may be used by the Club.]
10. Data protection
The personal data you provide is used by the Promoter to administer the draw and — because entry is via mailing-list sign-up — to send you Club news and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. We handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy at [PRIVACY POLICY URL] and applicable data protection law, and will not pass your details to third parties for their own marketing.
11. General
- We reserve the right to amend these terms, or to cancel, suspend or amend the draw, for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any entry we reasonably believe breaches these terms or involves fraud or misconduct.
- Our decision on all matters relating to the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
