A Powerful Evening of Football, Film and Community

Our community screening of All In The Game at Theatre Peckham was far more than a film premiere — it was young people, partners and supporters coming together around one belief: every young person deserves the chance to thrive.

Our recent screening of All In The Game was far more than a documentary premiere. It was a powerful reminder of what can happen when communities come together with a shared purpose and a belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive.

The evening celebrated the power of football, film and theatre to spark conversations, inspire hope and create opportunities that extend far beyond the pitch.

Bringing together young people, businesses, community leaders and supporters, the event showcased the extraordinary impact that football and theatre can have in transforming young lives. Through the story of Active Sports FC, All In The Game explores resilience, belonging and the realities many young people face, while demonstrating the life-changing opportunities that sport and positive role models can provide.

When entrepreneurs like Joshua Khan are supported by visionary politicians such as Miatta Fahnbulleh and philanthropists like Daniel Curran, meaningful change becomes possible. Together, they are creating opportunities that extend far beyond the football pitch and helping to shape brighter futures for the next generation.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came after the credits rolled. Our Q&A gave the young people the opportunity to openly discuss how the documentary made them feel, ask thoughtful questions and reflect on the issues raised throughout the film. Their honesty, vulnerability and insight reminded everyone in the room why these conversations matter. It wasn’t simply a discussion about football; it was about hope, identity, community and believing that a different future is possible.

We are incredibly grateful to Theatre Peckham for opening its doors and providing the perfect setting for these important conversations. A special thank you goes to Suzann McLean, whose continued commitment to championing young voices and community-led storytelling helped make this special evening possible.

To everyone who joined us—our guests, partners, supporters and, most importantly, the young people—thank you for believing in the mission behind All In

This documentary is just the beginning.

As All In The Game continues its journey through festivals, screenings and conversations across the country, we hope it reaches new audiences, inspires new partnerships and encourages further investment in the organisations, people and communities working every day to change young lives. Because when football, film and community come together with a shared purpose, extraordinary things really can happen.

THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.
