A Look Inside Active Sports FC

Built since 2020

Active Sports FC started in 2020 as a small local side with a big idea: that a football club could be more than its results. Six years on, that idea still holds. We’ve grown season by season on the back of hard work, local talent and the people who keep showing up for us — and we’re proud to compete in [league/division — confirm for 2026/27] and to keep earning our place in it.

You see it in training on the cold mornings and in the matches that don’t come easy. The grit our players bring is the same grit the club was built on.

More than the ninety minutes

Football is the reason we’re here, but it isn’t the whole story. Off the pitch the club runs youth development sessions, football camps for the next generation and fundraisers for the causes we care about — work that sits right at the heart of who we are. We want Active Sports to leave Croydon a little better than we found it.

A team effort

None of it happens without the people behind it: our coaches, our volunteers, the families ferrying kids to training, and the sponsors who back us.

We’re especially proud of the support from Lillebus, who’ve stood with us for over five years and sponsor the film telling our story. Their backing helps us keep moving forward — and keep documenting the journey as we go.

Looking ahead

As we head into the new season the plan is simple, and it hasn’t changed since day one: play hard, play fair, and represent our community with pride. There are fixtures to look forward to, new faces coming through, and a support that grows every week.
